Day 15 - (08/17) Portland, OR

We came to a temporary stop in our journey today.  We've driven 3,047 miles (towed 2,734 miles) and reached Portland.  Yea!

Today's trip was 184 miles.  Almost all was on I-84W along the Columbia River.

There were some interesting sights ... the ever changing landscape along the Columbia River, wind farms, a lumber farm (no picture, but very interesting) , Mt. Hood, and an Airstream caravan.

Wind turbines line the Washington ridge
Mt. Hood in the distance
There were 4 or 5 Airstreams in the caravan

We arrived in Portland around 2pm and got situated in front of Time & Elizabeth's home.  The street is a bit narrow, so we slipped up onto the tree lawn.
This parking was intentional, honest

It was 93 degrees when we set-up.  Tim had a surprise cooling beverage on hand.

Barbara came with Lucy and William and a birthday celebration began.

Elizabeth and her shish-kabob treats
Everything and everyone is looking good
Anna is 8 ... going on 25

This was a long, very busy day.  We were really beat at bedtime.
