Tim had to work a 12 hour shift at the hospital. Elizabeth, Anna, Carol & Dick took an outing to Mt. Hood. The trip was the easiest you can imagine ... from their home, you drive 54 miles (taking two right-hand turns along the way) and you're at the Timberline Lodge entrance.

Eric Witchey (cousin, uncle, step-son, etc.) arrived from Salem at around 5pm. We grilled bratwurst for dinner and talked until late.
